She was awarded with the world's beauty queen Miss Universe award 2011 from Sao Paolo in Brazil. After winning this prestigious award Leila Lopes became the first beauty queen from Angola to get a Miss Universe recognition. She became topper among the 88 other competitors from different parts of the world and added one more golden feather to her model and fashion history.
Leila Luliana da Costa Viera Lopes popularly known as Leila Lopes was born in Benguela (Angola) on 26th February 1986. She was a business management student in United Kingdom and was interested in Modelling and fashion.
